KUALA LUMPUR: Thongchai Jaidee will celebrate his 200th event at the Maybank Championship, which starts on Thursday, at Saujana Golf and Country Club.
"I come here every year, it's like my home. The golf course here has completely changed, a couple of greens moved to different holes, the tee box is longer but it doesn't matter because the most important thing is the condition."
"Every year, it is hard to control the condition, sometimes it rains and sometimes it's humid," said Thongchai, who has recorded 13 Asian Tour wins and eight European Tour victories.
Thongchai, 49, is not too bothered about results as he is already preparing himself for the Senior Tour.
"My target is to be a (Senior) Tour champion.
“I am working towards the future. Win or lose, make cut or not, it doesn't matter because I have a lot of other things to do," World No 217 Thongchai added.
