PORT DICKSON: Tan Sri Isa Samad is appealing to the voters here to give him a chance to represent them in Parliament.
The former menteri besar who is running as an independent candidate in the Port Dickson by-election, said his track record as a politician for 40 years and Jempol member of parliament would be immensely beneficial to the constituents here.
“I hope the people of Port Dickson will vote for me.
“With my experience, I am confident that I can help them, because I know about each and every problem here,” Isa said during one of his campaign trails in Lukut Market
Isa said the locals knew him well because he was the Bagan Pinang state assemblyman in the parliamentary constituency.
Isa said from the first day of campaigning he has been meeting people in small cluster gatherings.
“It is important to meet as many voters as you can. It is more effective this way. So far the voters have been very receptive to me.”
