KOTA BARU: Pas believes that PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli has his own agenda to come out with allegations stating that Datuk Dr Nasharuddin Mat Isa had received funds from SRC International Sdn Bhd, a former 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) subsidiary.

Party secretary-general Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan said the move also showed that Rafizi has a big dream for his future.

“It is a possibility that there are two groups in PKR. One is of its deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and another is Rafizi’s group.

“Pas believes Rafizi is trying to ‘win the hearts’ among the people and the allegations are among his strategies,” said Takiyuddin when met here today.

The Kota Baru MP then said he was willing to be a witness if Nasarudin were to take legal action against Rafizi.

Rafizi had on Thursday named Nasharudin who is former Pas deputy president, as one of the individuals who was said to have received funds from 1MDB allegedly channelled through the personal bank account of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Nasharudin who is Global Movement of Moderates (GMM) chief executive officer later denied that he has received the funds from SRC International Sdn Bhd, adding that the statements were not only baseless and irrelevant but also a gross defamation of him and Pas.

He said he is willing to cooperate with any investigations by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and would submit for a legal counsel as his next course of action.
