PUTRAJAYA: It is learnt that Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) chairman Tan Sri Isa Samad met with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak early this morning.
Isa is believed to have arrived at the Perdana Putra Complex here at 8am for his meeting with Najib over the boardroom tussle at FGV.
An attempt to interview Isa proved futile as it is believed that he left the premises using an alternative exit to avoid the media scrum which had gathered outside the gates of the Complex.
On Sunday, Felda chairman Tan Sri Shahrir Samad had hinted that there would be a change in FGV leadership.
However, he declined to divulge whether Isa would be replaced, requesting instead for reporters to wait for the official announcement to be made by special shareholders.
Datuk Seri Idris Jala was reported to have been appointed as an independent party to establish the facts of the case behind the FGV tussle.
Jala is scheduled to recommend the way forward following FGV’s decision to suspend its top officers.
