KUALA LUMPUR: At “Kelab Malam Al-Ronggeng Maju”, singer-songwriter Faizal Tahir is a retro dancing machine, grooving to the beat of his latest tune Ragaman like it’s the 1970s.
No, it’s not a real night club, but a mock-up of a club which became the background for Faizal’s music video.
He shared the video on his Instagram. It features him and four other men dancing along to the music.
Faizal captioned the video with: “Idea asal MV #Ragaman. Nasib baik tak jadi pakai”, wrote Faizal. (The original idea for Ragaman’s music video. It’s a good thing we didn’t use it).
His fans and followers were amused to see a different side to their music idol.
They seemed really entertained by the clip with many describing the dance routine as hilarious and cute.
“I can’t stop watching it!” wrote a follower.
While another responded with: “This is so entertaining and funny!”.
In reality, the official music video for Ragaman available on YouTube tells a love story about a couple, set in the olden days played by Faizal and actress Nabila Huda.
It climbed to the third spot on YouTube Malaysia’s trending list and has amassed more than 2.6 million views since its release last week.
