KUALA LUMPUR: Celebs sharing photos or videos of their cute children on social media platforms are not a new thing.

Though their fans might enjoy the gesture, certain things can also draw unwanted or negative attention depending on the context.

Popular actress Rozita Che Wan recently got into hot soup after sharing a video clip of her 3-year-old daughter Aaisyah Dhia Rana who was allegedly seen clad in a bikini.

The video which was apparently uploaded on Aaisyah’s Instagram account, which has 1.2 million followers, drew many comments from horrified Netizens who felt that the video clip was unacceptable as it could potentially attract the attention of paedophiles.

Many commenters had called for the video, which at the time had garnered over 175,000 likes and almost 600 comments, to be taken down.

In a news report, the 45-year-old actress, better known as Che Ta, said that she had only wanted to share a funny moment from her cute-as-a-button celebrity daughter with fans.

”I uploaded the video just for the fun of it after seeing my girl doing something comical. I didn’t read any of the comments from fans and Netizens initially. Only after a few days later did I notice the comments that requested for me to remove the video,” she said.

Che Ta, who is the wife of actor Zain Saidin, added: “So with that I decided to delete it. I really had no problem with doing that.”
