KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung Electronics today unveils the Galaxy A9, which is the world’s first smartphone featuring a rear quad camera.
The A9 also comes with Ultra Wide Lens, Scene Optimizer and Depth Lens among others for clear and bright images in both bright and low light.
“We understand the demand for meaningful innovation in a fast-paced world driven by visual communication, hence the creation of Galaxy A9” said DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics.
The phone is equipped with 2x Optical Zoom, giving users a better close-up shots.
Packed with 3,800mAh1 battery, the Galaxy A9 allows longer performance. It also comes with a 128GB storage and the ability to be expanded to 512GB via MicroSD card.
Designed to make life more convenient, the Galaxy A9 features Bixby2, Samsung Pay3 and Samsung Health. Besides that, users can also take advantage of the many multi-tasking benefits the phone offers, including App Pair.
Building on Samsung’s heritage in good design, the Galaxy A9 is styled in three unique colours; Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink with a sleek and ergonomic design, that fits in one hand with a 3D Glass curved back for a high-quality comfortable feel.
The Galaxy A9 will be available starting November, 2018. No price is available at Press time.
