KUALA LUMPUR: In coping with the rising demands of gaming devices, Acer Malaysia today unveils more product line-up for powerful to casual gaming, as well as a range of lifestyle devices offering efficient computing.

Headlining the new product range is the highly anticipated Predator Helios 300 which offers high-end gaming features and technologies at mid-range price points.

Featuring Acer’s proprietary AeroBlade 3D fan, the latest innovation of metal blade increases airflow performance up to 35 per cent.

Comes preloaded with Windows 10, the laptop features an overclockable Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU combined with a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 (7700HQ) desktop processor for outstanding performance.

The Predator Helios 300 is supported by 8GB DDR4 memory at its core, a speedy 256GB solid state drive and 1TB hard disk drive.

Maintaining its prominent red backlit keyboard, the laptop has a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display, two built-in stereo speakers which use Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TreuHarmony technology providing immersive sound quality.

Another budget-friendly gaming device, the Nitro 5 which is equipped with Acer Coolboost technology delivers superior cooling ability for a smooth gameplay.

The Acer Nitro 5 packs Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1050 and 1050Ti graphics along with Intel's 7th generation Core i5 and i7 processors.

Also comes with a red backlit keyboard, the laptop supports up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM. All variants come with a 1TB HDD as well.

The price for the Acer Predator Helios 300 is RM5,999 while the Nitro 5 retails at RM3,299 for the Core i5 model and RM4,699 (Core i7 version).

At the launch, Acer also introduces its upgraded laptops and other products including newly designed Acer Swift 3, the improved 2-in-1 Acer Switch 5, Aspire desktops and Acer projector, among others.
