THE road condition near the Al-Hidayah Sentul mosque in Jalan Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, is no better despite maintenance work by Kuala Lumpur City Hall.

A motorist, who wanted to be known only as Hafiz, said the road surface was showing cracks, with small potholes appearing here and there.

“Motorcylists must find a way between the cars just to avoid the potholes and cracks on the road.

“It is a very dangerous situation. The road had just been repaired, but there is no improvement.”

City Hall will send a team from its Civil Engineering and Urban Transportation Department to inspect the road conditions in the area.

Its director, Hamid Surip, said the team would find a solution soon.

“The cracks and potholes may have been caused by road-digging work. If we have enough manpower and supply, we will repair the road immediately.”
